Job Description

Create solution for the problem spaces, provide technical guidance, drive execution and advocate adoption of best practices.
Build, mentor, and guide a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment where everyone can thrive. You will actively invest in their professional development through regular feedback, coaching and opportunities for growth.
Mentor Software Engineer (SWEs) in team both technically and as a manager. Lead design and architecture reviews and ideas in the SmartAlerting space.
Partner closely with researchers, product managers, and geographically distributed engineering teams.
Review code written by other engineers and provide feedback to uphold best practices (e.g., style guidelines, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
3 years of experience working in an matrixed organization.
