Job Description

Lead Photos Processing and Serving team in Bangalore. Lead the hiring, growth, and training of a team of Software Engineers in our Bangalore office.
Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with Photos’ product and feature development teams, along with Google’s broader Core organization.
Identify key trends across Photos feature teams, and influence how we solve some of our most important problems.
Improve reliability and performance in the processing infrastructure, build automation platforms to accelerate prototyping, experimentation and feature development, and accelerate the ML deployment cycle.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
