Job Description

Lead the technical strategy and execution for a team focused on bringing the world's premium movies, shows, news, and sports to YouTube. Be accountable for the quantity and quality of this content.
Be accountable for the growth of MediaCos on YouTube.
Manage premium features, promote content, understand subscriber acquisition and performance.
Define, measure, and move metrics to understand the opportunity and health of MediaCos on YouTube.
Hire and grow a high-performing engineering team. Set a healthy engineering culture rooted in psychological safety and collaboration.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in any of the following : Data Acquisition, Web Applications, User Experience, Enterprise Applications, Data Processing, Boq, Navigating Ambiguity, C++.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
3 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
