Job Description

Build a team of engineers that own the design and implementation of various GCP networking cloud services and infrastructure components.
Drive software best practices for the team.
Develop and implement plans to achieve the team goals and continuously improve the team performance.
Set the strategy for the team.
Represent the team to senior management and other stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
Experience with cloud WAN, networking infrastructure, software defined networking, security and network cost optimization with Google Cloud Platform or other public cloud platforms.
