Job Description

Influence technical direction for top priority projects for the team. Drive technical roadmap and prioritization for Home Apps infrastructure.
Involve in architecture and design discussions. Code in Java/Kotlin and set best practices for the team.
Manage tech debt elimination and system architecture. Prioritize code cleanup, and promote testing and quality best practices across the organization.
Own core app journeys including Home page, Growth, Subscriptions, Identity, Entertainment, Gemini in Assistant and more.
Work with and influence the latest smart home standards. Build rich app experiences for many device verticals. Define the future of Gemini in the Home.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, Obj-C).
3 years of experience in a technical leadership role, overseeing projects.
Experience in android, mobile app development.

Preferred qualifications:

Ability to communicate cross-functionally and collaborate with other people, teams and functions.
