Job Description

As a Program Manager, you will build and scale the OCI Data & AI programs. This is a business-critical initiative to build a culture of engineering and leadership across OCI. The role will involve forming and scaling various programs for OCI teams in Bangalore and US. You will need to come up with strategy for rolling out and running various programs including monitoring the projects from initiation through delivery and reporting it to the leadership.

Be the voice of the program to executive leadership, partners and stakeholders, and provide direction.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science, Masters preferred
5+ years of relevant PM experience leading cross functional programs with aggressive schedules
Background in technical operations and/or program management is required.
Experience taking a program from concept through Launch
Use excellent written and oral communication to apprise stakeholders of the program status, risks, and path to success
Position requires strong organization and attention to detail
Track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects

Responsibilities Include:

Partner with Engineering Leaders, service teams, business operations and other key stakeholders to define and deliver programs.
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities by having the ability to influence roadmaps and priorities
Identify opportunities and define programs within the organization to bring in structure and controls
Engage with key stakeholders in North America and India on an ongoing basis to drive the desired results on critical programs
Responsible for escalating issues across multiple business units within OCI (e.g., technical support, engineering, operations, etc.) and coordinating with resources as necessary to resolve problems.
Demonstrate flexibility to changing or ambiguous situations, directing changes through appropriate review and approval mechanisms.

Personnel management – supervise and collaborate with engineering teams; strong leadership and management skills are essential
Organization skills – manage multiple facets of a large-scale project and track progress for several programs at once
Communication skills – deliver regular program reports, and verbal communication to effectively talk to team members and monitor program progress
Multitasking – ability to work on multiple tasks at once
Problem-solving skills – use problem-solving skills to isolate and solve problems with programs to keep progress on track.
