We are looking for software engineers with a Methodical approach, Keen attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a solid knowledge base are essential. Strong technical background in designing and implementing QA test strategies and automation. You must also be passionate about understanding the product domain and designing/executing tests to provide key project deliverables, calling on your scripting/programming skills where appropriate and making use of your innovative mindset to help deliver the best in cloud services. You will champion and prioritize important Customer and Business scenarios as you develop test strategies position requires a solid computer science background, Strong analytical skills to create test plan design and strategies, strong coding and design skills for developing and testing enterprise-grade software, execution skills, strong collaboration and communication skills, proven track record of delivering strong results in similar projects as QA engineer in a product development organization.

About Oracle Analytics for Applications

We are looking for senior technical professionals who are passionate about building Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytical Applications. Quality assurance of such systems is challenging and requires deep technical knowledge and individuals passionate about quality. The right candidate will work closely with the development team leaders, product/program managers, and release managers to create the next generation of our Analytics product line for the cloud.

We will provide pre-packaged analytic pipelines and applications hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, built for Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. Our Services will deliver pre-built data models for ERP, HCM, and CRM applications. Additionally, we will have offerings that will provide semantic layer KPIs and metrics, and modern visualizations that will provide analytical and actionable insights to the Business User. We are building our offerings as Native Services on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure platform.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Experience in developing and designing the data model.
Product and release upgrades & operations handling in the complex integrated multi-team cloud project
Creation and Maintenance of integration Test Environments
Develop suitable test strategies and approaches for complex systems. Bring the customer and business user perspective in developing these strategies
Develop test suites for complex UI and customer scenarios
Automation of operational and functional test scenarios
Work closely with developers, product managers, UI designers to ensure completeness of test cases, bug fixing and increase code coverage
Participate in defect and issue resolution process
Contribute and Participate in reviews and development of requirement documents, functional and technical design specifications, test specifications
Understanding of Software Development (preferably Java) and Continuous Integration Systems
Excellent written and oral communication skills, judgment and decision-making skills, and the ability to work under continual deadline pressure
Experience with testing types such as Regression Testing, System Testing, Integration Testing, Functional Testing, Usability Testing
Experience with Test Management tools and Bug tracking tool
Ability to create Requirement based Use Cases/test cases and can leverage tools to execute those test cases to prove functionality meets business requirements

Preferred skills and qualifications

B.tech Computer Science or equivalent
4+ years of experience in Software operations, functional testing and automation preferably involving SaaS/cloud applications
Strong QA experience in creating Test Specs, automating, executing and reporting results
Creating content using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Data Visualizations, Data Modelling and Analytics Reporting tools.
Responsible to design, development, implementation and support of mission-critical enterprise Business Intelligence reports/dashboards
Responsible for the technical design, development, documentation, testing, implementation and support mutiple reporting requirements.
Programming interest and experience with Java, Python, Scripting languages etc
Professional experience with 3rd Party and Open Source automation tools such as with TestNG, JUnit, Rest-Assured, Selenium
Knowledge of DevOps is an added advantage
Experience in the cloud domain and Experience in testing APIs and working in Agile Environment
Container (Docker) based applications, Kubernetes-based deployments
Coordinating with the Development team to discuss verification protocols
Creating test plans and cases, preparing detailed test reports and prioritizing and executing tests
Reviewing technical specifications and design documents
Conducting regression testing when needed
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
