Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management is the only application that provides a product-based solution for revenue management. It is built to industry standards on a highly available, real-time platform, and it’s functionally rich enough to support all communications and media service provider business processes across all lines of business.

The position is to contribute for the BRM product development roadmap focused on Pricing and Catalog functionalities.

Role and Responsibilities

Development Manager to lead the Communications Global Industry Unit (CGIU) Product development engineering team, managing development of Monetization Product Catalog using latest technologies in CGIU Bangalore Product development center.

As Development Manager, managing development of Billing and Revenue Management Products using Java and Javascript based latest technologies,

Deliver on product roadmap involving delivery of UI and Rest APIs.
Manage product backlog and collaborate with product owners and architects.
Provide technical guidance and architectural inputs based on your extensive experience.
Understand overall delivery timelines and dependencies and risks associated, develop plans to address any bottlenecks.
Coach and guide team members and support career development.

Eligibility : Education and Work Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or higher education level, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer, or Information Technology discipline, or a related engineering/computer field.
10+ years’ experience implementing Information Technology in an enterprise of similar technical breadth and scale. Ideally across multiple functional roles including Architect, Design, Code, Test, Deploy, and Operate
Has performed/performing Technical Solution Architecture for a company of similar technical breadth and scale Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities.

Telecom BSS/OSS experience,

Application experience in Telecom Billing and Pricing design.

Required Skills:

§ Should have managed product development teams, developing Micro services for any major public cloud platforms.(AWS, Azure, OpenShift, OCI).

§ Excellent understanding and expertise on Core Java, Spring/Spring boot, kubernetes and Docker.

§ Excellent understanding and expertise on delivering User Interface using java script based technologies. (React, OJET etc)

§ Managed end to end product development including CI/CD and code coverage, security coverage etc

�� Should have demonstrated the ability to plan and deliver Development projects using Agile/Safe methodologies.

�� Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to lead the translation of high-level business proposals into detailed technical requirements.

§ Good negotiation skills and the ability to operate among conflicting requests and opinions.

§ The ability to perform with minimal management direction / intervention and to know when to escalate issues.

�� Strong team building and influencing skills, with a track record of creating focus and momentum.

§ Knowledge of project, schedule, scope and risk-management techniques is desirable.
