Job Description

The Global Revenue Recognition Systems team supports the Revenue Recognition Organization with application development, systems administration, technical support, and process improvements. The Global Revenue Recognition team uses the internally built APEX system to manage, document, and report revenue recognition conclusions. This role will actively participate in the development/building, testing, and enhancing of custom AI/ML models using Python for Data Science, OML, Gen AI , PL/SQL, Oracle APEX and other technologies. The development process includes problem solving with a diverse team of individuals with different skill sets and backgrounds.

Department Description:

Revenue Recognition Systems is responsible for all internal APEX development used within the Revenue Recognition team. The team maintains open communication channels with all stakeholders, addressing bugs, participating on Project Teams, and interacts with a Global team located throughout the World.

Detailed Job Description:

This is a full-time opportunity at the largest business software company in the world, Oracle Corporation. As the Global Revenue Recognition Systems Analyst, you will help develop applications with the entire development team and escalating issues appropriately and timely.

The role calls for a highly skilled individual to work as an individual contributor and as a collaborative team member with individuals around the world. Work is non-routine and very complex involving the application of advanced technical / business skills in areas of specialization. Candidate must possess strong analytical and communication skills in partnering with other internal groups. Strong project management skills are essential. Candidate should be able to prepare and deliver quality presentations, submit regular status updates, make recommendations and raise escalations to management.

Major responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

Development & Production Support

Build AI/ML models based on the identified AI use cases.
Deploy the models and make them accessible using user friendly UI (Apex/OAC).
Assist and support all quarter-end activities
Ensure development and Bug resolution are meeting internal SLA’s
Make recommendations for issue resolution
Documentation of processes
Utilize proper industry standards to code and develop software and deliver on time

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years software development experience with a history of developing solutions (Model building) using Python for Data Science, Gen AI technologies, Oracle ML , Oracle APEX, SQL/PLSQL and web technologies
Strong experience in AI/ML model building using Python.
Strong experience in performing Data Analytics activities for Model building.
Strong experience using SQL & PL/SQL. Oracle Certification is a plus
Proficiency in RDBMS concepts & advanced experience in creating and using database objects
Knowledge in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) is Plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective working alone and as a team
Strong interest to train and learn new technologies
Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects with changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing and build strong relationships across geographies
Detail oriented, yet able to identify issues and grasp concepts at a broader level
Experience in working with the business from a finance perspective at global Fortune 500 enterprises
