Lead Assistant Financial Controller
Job Description
Qualification: CA with 10+years’ experience
Proficiency requirement:
- Sound knowledge of Accounting standards and ability to interpret, assimilate and apply the standards/concepts.
- Taxation - Direct and Indirect tax requirements
- General awareness on statutes governing country operations.
- Risk and Compliance assessment.
- Hand-on experience in an ERP environment
- Analytical and Reasoning skills.
- Project management skills
Roles and Responsibilities include
- Monthly review of the financial position of the legal entities under control.
- Supporting the financial controller-ship of legal entity assets and liabilities.
- Ensuring timely financial reporting of legal entities’ results (monthly, quarterly, and annually) in accordance with US GAAP and Local GAAP.
- Migration of accounts of acquired entities- Due diligence of accounts of the acquired entity in coordination with migration team and finance team of the acquired entity, Migration of these accounts as per Oracle standards, Goodwill adjustment as required.
- Ensure Critical errors are addressed on priority & appropriate training provided / remedial action initiated and streamline the go-forward process.
- Audit Co-ordination & Clearance (Entity Statutory Audit, Tax Audits, USGAAP group audit, internal audit and SOX) providing reliable information in timely manner and completion of assignment within statutory timelines.
- Actively participate in various regional / global projects and drive country level projects
