Role : Product Management - IPM

Responsibilities and detailed job description

Product Management role within Oracle EPM team is a very strategic role involving outbound , inbound and strategic responsibilities.

We are looking for a seasoned and experienced EPM person that can help run the Implementation Success Program as well as the IPM Assistance program, that helps customer better appreciate and adopt our features in Connected Planning and IPM areas.

A big part of this is to work with global customers, ensuring that they see value in usage of the features in the product or seek feedback from them for improving the product.

Further this role is tasked with working with development in identifying and prioritizing the features and innovations that have to be covered in the space, mostly covering the customer needs, in the area of connected planning and IPM.

Some of the activities this position will cover are - Developing functional spec, putting together prototypes for ideas with use cases and data, working with Dev and QE teams, working on workshops and training materials, and helping with GTM and customer success efforts.

Product management role will also analyze the competitor offerings and draw out the product differentiations, and help drive the roadmap that will stay ahead in the market.

About the Successful Candidate

The successful candidate is a self-motivated techno functional product professional who comes with an analytical mindset and has a flair for problem solving in business intelligence and analytics areas.

Must qualifications for this position are:

Overall 12 to 18 years’ experience in the following areas

· Industry and business knowledge expertise working in core business functions such as Finance, Sales, Marketing or HR

Working in Analytics and related products

Part of the experience in Product Management

Been involved in Software Product lifecycle

Have mathematics and / or statistical backgroun

2. Experience working in Enterprise Software

3. Excellent communication skills

3. Bachelors in Tech (BE) /Mathematics / Commerce/ Statistics or equivalent

4. MBA or Chartered Accountant or equivalent

5. Knowledge of Enterprise Performance Management Products and Technologies

Desirable qualifications for this position are:

Experience in Big Data Technologies
Handson product management experience in ML / AI based products
Working knowledge of Oracle Essbase & Oracle EPM Suite of Products
Working knowledge of BI and Analytics tools
Go to market and other outbound product management activities
Work experience in Financial Performance and Analysis (FP &A)
