Job Title: Analyst - Tax Technology and Automation Location: Mumbai Department: Tax Technology Reports To: Tax Technology Manager Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: The Tax Technology and Automation Analyst will support the tax technology team by assisting in the development and implementation of technology solutions to improve tax compliance and reporting. This role involves working closely with the tax and IT teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements. Key Responsibilities: • Preparation of Business requirement document. • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of tax technology solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax processes. • Collaborate with tax teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements. • Support the implementation of tax tools, ensuring they are effectively integrated into existing systems. • Help automate repetitive tax processes using tools such as Excel, Alteryx, or other automation platforms. • Assist in the preparation and analysis of tax data for reporting and compliance purposes. • Participate in the testing and validation of new tax technology solutions. • Provide technical support and training to tax team members on the use of tax technology tools. • Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in tax technology and automation. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. • Basic understanding of tax principles and regulations. • Familiarity with Gen AI, tax and technology solutions is a plus. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Word. • Experience with data analysis and automation tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Gen AI or similar is preferred. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
