Departmental Profile

The FID Infrastructure Strategies team works with the onshore team to implement tools and business reporting solutions aiming to enhance business’ intraday risk management.

This role will require the candidate to partner with various desk-aligned Strat teams throughout FID as other firm functions within BCU, Finance and Trading Risk Management groups to ensure Fixed Income solutions are aligned with the overall Firm’s risk management and technology strategy.

Role Responsibilities

· Implement tools to represent and analyse intraday Risk and P&L.

· Development of frameworks for various reporting and analytical tools.

. Interact with key stakeholders regularly to prioritize and deliver solutions that the business needs.

· Implement reporting requirements for Fixed Income resources (e.g., capital, funding, liquidity, balance sheet usage).

Key Skills and Experience:

. Experience with database queries; preferably using KDB/Q.

· Strong programming skills in another core language (Java / Python / C++).

· Knowledge of architecture and design principles; algorithms and data structures.

· Strong communication skills.

· Attention to detail and the ability to work thoughtfully and independently and manage multiple projects.

Nice To Have:

· Proven interest in finance and financial instruments.

· Any front-end Java script framework experience e.g. React, Angular.
