Parametric is part of Morgan Stanley Investment Management, the asset management division of Morgan Stanley. We partner with advisors, institutions, and consultants to build portfolios focused on what's important to them and their clients. This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office for a minimum of 3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.

ABOUT THE TEAM
The Platform Solution Management team at Parametric is responsible for defining and enabling cross-platform business solutions that meet the needs of clients over time. Solutions are products, services or systems that provide value to the client, whether internal or external to the PPA enterprise. Sitting at the intersection of business, client and technology, we collaborate with multiple teams to understand solution context and define the solution vision, roadmap and capability set.

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to join our Platform Solution Management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in user and process documentation, requirements gathering, and current state diagramming. This role requires working closely with developers and users, supporting solution testing, and writing detailed acceptance criteria. Basic negotiation skills and UI wireframing abilities are essential, along with advanced usage of Content Management Systems (CMS).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

User and Process Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of user processes and workflows. Ensure that all documentation is current and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define business requirements. Utilize various techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys to ensure a thorough understanding.
Current State Diagramming: Create and analyze current state diagrams to map out existing processes. Identify areas for improvement and ensure clarity in documentation.
Basic Negotiation Skills: Facilitate discussions and negotiations to align stakeholder expectations and project goals. Resolve conflicts and ensure consensus on key decisions.
Basic UI Wireframing: Design basic wireframes to visualize user interfaces and interactions. Work with UX/UI designers to refine wireframes based on feedback.
Understanding of Business Context: Apply business context knowledge to ensure solutions meet organizational needs. Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for optimization.
Collaboration with Developers: Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly. Provide ongoing support and clarification throughout the development lifecycle.
Solution Testing Support: Assist in the testing of solutions to ensure they meet the defined requirements. Develop test plans, execute test cases, and document results.
Writing Acceptance Criteria: Define clear and concise acceptance criteria for project deliverables. Ensure criteria are measurable and aligned with business objectives.
Advanced CMS Usage: Utilize advanced features of Content Management Systems to manage and organize content effectively. Provide training and support to other team members on CMS best practices.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
SKILL SET
Required Experience: 4+ years
Skill set: Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Feature specification

PRIMARY SKILLS
- Bachelor's or Masters degree (BE/MCA/MBA) required
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Business Analysis
- Strong communication, documentation and presentation skills
- Domain knowledge in asset management is a plus
- Strong documentation skills for user and process workflows.
- Proficiency in gathering and defining business requirements.
- Ability to create and analyze current state diagrams.
- Basic negotiation skills to facilitate stakeholder discussions.
- Experience with basic UI wireframing tools.
- Solid understanding of business context and its application.
- Effective collaboration with developers and technical teams.
- Capability to support solution testing and quality assurance.
- Expertise in writing clear and actionable acceptance criteria.
- Advanced knowledge and usage of Content Management Systems.
- Experience with Confluence, Excel, SQL, Jira, Lucid/Visio
- Ability to understand data models and relationships within data
- Advanced querying and data mapping skills
- Ability to deep dive into root cause analysis and summarize findings
- Strong experience in extensive data analysis and ability to recommend solution options
- Advanced skills in technical and functional requirements gathering and documentation
- Ability to learn quickly and work in a changing environment and under tight deadlines
- Ability to independently manage personal timelines and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to successfully manage and coordinate simultaneous project deliverables across groups and teams
