Job Description

A platform engineer will be building, and maintaining the technology platforms and infrastructure that software applications and services. They work on creating and managing the underlying systems and tools that enable developers to build, deploy, and operate their applications efficiently. The role of a platform engineer can vary depending on the client and the specific requirements of the platform they are working on.

Primary skills

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Lead and manage complex programs and projects from inception through to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain program plans, timelines, budgets, and resources allocation in collaboration with project managers and team leads.
- Define program governance structures and establish effective communication channels to provide regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Monitor program performance and outcomes, identifying risks and issues proactively, and implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing guidance and support to project teams, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement cross-functional resources and stakeholders to achieve program milestones and deliverables on time and within budget.
- Drive change management initiatives associated with program implementation, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes or technologies.
- Prepare and present comprehensive program status reports, executive summaries, and presentations to senior leadership and stakeholders.

**Required Skills :
experience as a Program Manager or in a similar senior project management role, managing large-scale programs or portfolios.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid and problem-solving abilities, with a mindset and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software for planning, scheduling, and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smartsheet).
