Educational Requirements Bachelor of Engineering Additional Responsibities: Preferred skills: The candidate should have storage & backup background. Storage Technologies: Nasuni, Dell ECS, Dell Powerscale. Backup: Cohesity Technical and Professional Requirements: • Responsible for day-to-day operations and leading a team of server, storage and backup admins. Work with customer leads, application owners, and be the technical SPOC for client reporting and escalation. • Oversee software upgrades and management of infrastructure in a multi-vendor environment. • Work with vendors to POC new products and enhance capabilities of existing platforms. • Prepare, present operations SLAs, tasks, and project updates to the customer. • Support multi-vendor, globally distributed infrastructure environment. • Advise the customer about performance management, availability management, configuration management and reporting. • Solution preparation for migrating different workloads on-to standardized platforms, and consolidation particularly for remote offices. • SLA reporting, capacity trending and capacity planning for large, distributed environment running in Petabytes, and spread across globally.
