Job Description

A Program Manager for Agile Data Migration from Azure to AWS would be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of migration projects. Heres a detailed job description for such a role
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, milestones, and deliverables.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives and strategies.
Agile Methodology Implementation
Implement and manage Agile processes and tools to facilitate efficient project execution.
Lead Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure continuous improvement.
Migration Execution
Oversee the end-to-end data migration process from Azure to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity.
Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement migration strategies and tools.
Monitor and manage risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of developers, architects, and analysts.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for professional growth.
Stakeholder Communication
Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and successes.
Prepare and present project status reports to executive leadership.
Quality Assurance
Ensure all migration activities comply with industry standards and best practices.
Implement testing protocols to validate data accuracy and system performance post-migration.
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage project budgets, ensuring resources are allocated efficiently.

Qualifications
Experience 5+ years in program management with a focus on cloud migration projects.
Technical Skill Proficient in AWS and Azure cloud services, Agile methodologies, and project management tools such as JIRA or Microsoft Project.
Education Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A PMP or Agile certification is preferred.
Soft Skills Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Additional Requirements:
In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture and data migration strategies.
Experience in managing large-scale migration projects and leading cross-functional teams.
