Infra Support Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Linux environments, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), and Apache. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance of applications. Design, deploy, and manage Linux servers and applications.
Configure and maintain WebSphere Application Server for optimal performance and security.
Implement and manage Apache web server configurations, ensuring high availability and load balancing.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to servers and applications.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
Automate deployment and management processes using scripting and configuration management tools.
Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery tests.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to infrastructure and application management.
Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge sharing.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Linux, WAS, and Apache.
Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
Experience with WebSphere Application Server configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in Apache web server setup, management, and optimization.
Familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
