Amazon’s Customer Service organization is looking to expand its software engineering team to help drive automation, self-service and defect reduction for customers. We are searching for smart, energetic and passionate software development engineers to solve complex technical problems and to work with engineering and business teams distributed across the globe.
Amazon's Customer Service (CS) department is seeking an experienced software development engineer (SDE) to join the team. CS is the heart of Amazon, our vision is to be "Earth's most customer-centric company; to build a place where people can come to find and discover anything they might want to buy online."

Job location would be Hyderabad.

Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will work within the Consumer Tech and Product (CTAP) team and own the delivery of technical changes from a strong roadmap of projects. The projects range from introducing new self-service workflows for customers to access from the website to new Email, Push and SMS notifications. The candidate will gain a vast amount of experience in a short time period by working with various technical teams from across the globe on an away team model basis.

A day in the life
As a Software Development Engineer in CTAP, you will take the lead on building innovative solutions for enabling self service automation and contact handling. You will also own the technical relationships with the business teams. You will have a strong bias for action, Deep Dive, insist on the highest standards and deliver results. 1+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
