The RApid Machine Prototyping (RAMP) team specializes in running experimental projects and pilots on all types of emerging technology in the machine learning space.

Job Mission
We are seeking an experienced Team Manager to join our operations to develop, manage, and support our AGI-DS team. Your primary focus will be the execution of pilot and experimental projects and scaling management of projects into larger operation teams.

Key job responsibilities
As Team Manager, you will be responsible for :

• Manage job assignment on a day-to-day basis, monitoring performance on job or queue adherence, volume, and quality
• Support hiring and training of new Associates
• Ensure productivity is maximized through supervision, training, analysis, and feedback of performance data on a periodic basis
• Develop the work schedule for the week by balancing work across various workflows and/or navigating competing delivery priorities
• Liaise with Program Management and other global operations team leads to manage risks & propose mitigation strategies
• Track quality and utilization metrics
• File and track tickets, following up on blocks to productivity
• Provide regular, formal & informal feedback to direct reports
• Identify and help implement process-related improvement using methodologies such as Kaizen, six sigma, or lean
• Support project coordinators with data collection needs

A day in the life
Every day you will hold prioritization syncs with your team, ensuring they know which projects are high priority and have escalated any major roadblocks to forward progress. You will meet with the global RAMP Leadership team to discuss weekly strategies, ultimately focusing on the creation of an agile and expert based team culture.

About the team
The HYD based RAMP team consists of 10 experienced Associates, with a focus on IN language expertise, prototype Device Testing and the management and off boarding of experimental projects into large scale stable teams. • Bachelor Degree or equivalent professional or military experience
• Experience working with performance metrics and developing them to measure progress against key performance indicators
• Experience managing a team or a group of people while supporting projects/programs.
• Experience with process improvement/quality control tools and methods
