Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join us to contribute and improve seller growth at Amazon. We are a dedicated group of BIE, DE, DS, AS and BAs, our mission is to deliver data-driven analytical solutions that empower sellers to thrive on Amazon's global platform. We specialize in constructing and maintaining intricate standard data pipelines and reporting pipelines that help Product managers make decisions to measure, derive and analyze performance of the sellers on Amazon, the supporting tools and the seller facing products.

We are currently in search of a brilliant, self-driven, and seasoned BIE II to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on building scalable solutions, including extensive data models and complex ETL pipelines and utilize your expertise to raise the bar on data timeliness, discoverability and availability of the same.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards on the key drivers of our business
- Partner with Product Managers and business teams to consult, develop and implement KPI’s, automated reporting solutions and infrastructure improvements to meet business needs
- Develop and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support business needs
- Perform both ad-hoc and strategic analyses
- Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
