Job Description
- Troubleshooting, assisting internal/lab clients with issues related to different vendor CCAP/CMTS, RPHY operation.
- Troubleshooting RF cable termination issues, RF power level alignment on existing RF structure.
- Troubleshooting CPE/Cable modem provisioning process (DHCP, TFTP, configuration file), verify RF power.
- On request configuration changes on different vendor CMTS, RPHY, CCAP/CMTS equipment.
- Support of operational teams in troubleshooting the network (CMTS, Access, and IP backbone).
- Knowledge in CMTS and DOCSIS area, configuration of different vendor CMTS, DAA, RPHY, CCAP/CMTS equipment.
- Knowledge of DAA, R-PHY, CCAPs, and DOCSIS modulation technologies.
- Knowledge in network design, network architecture, protocols and network topology, MPLS and routing protocols OSPF, BGP, ISIS.
- Knowledge of RF/coaxial and fiber optic technologies.

- Maintain open-source free PBX Asterisk.
- Troubleshooting SIP calls, SIP trunk connections.
- Troubleshooting network connectivity.
- Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, and VoIP security
