Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BRIM SOM Consultant to join our SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM) team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing and supporting Subscription Order Management (SOM) processes, enabling subscription-based business models and seamless order-to-cash execution. This role requires strong functional knowledge of SAP SOM and its integration with other BRIM components such as Convergent Charging (SAP CC), Convergent Invoicing (SAP CI), and Contract Accounting (FI-CA).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP SOM solutions to support subscription-based services.
Manage subscription lifecycle processes including product modeling, order capture, order distribution, and orchestration.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Integrate SOM with SAP CC, CI, FI-CA, and external CRM or e-commerce platforms.
Support testing, training, and go-live activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to subscription order processing and orchestration.
Ensure compliance with revenue recognition and billing standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
4+ years of experience in SAP, with at least 2+ years in SAP BRIM SOM.
Strong understanding of subscription-based business models and order-to-cash processes.
Experience with product modeling, provider contracts, and orchestration frameworks.
Familiarity with integration to SAP CC, CI, and FI-CA.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Secondary Skills:

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with SAP S/4HANA and BRIM suite.
SAP Certification in BRIM or SOM.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and SOM APIs.
Experience in telecom, media, utilities, or digital services industries.
