Job Description

Enforce YouTube’s harmful and dangerous content policies and ensure high quality policy enforcement.
Research and stay up to date on key trends and operation patterns creating a threat to platform safety.
Work with cross-functional stakeholders and communicate initiatives to the broader organization, including local teams.
Analyze, identify, prioritize and deliver strategies to reduce potentially harmful content.
Manage escalations while ensuring high quality enforcement and clear communication with cross-functional stakeholders.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, technology research, anti-abuse, policy or related fields.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in content policy, anti-abuse, and reviewing online content.
Experience identifying abuse trends or working in news or policy, with a passion for international issues, including freedom of expression, online controversial content, and misinformation.
Experience in the misinformation space.
Experience with SQL and spreadsheets.
Ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners across geographies, with excellent influencing and communication skills.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in data analytics, cybersecurity, technology research, anti-abuse, policy or related fields.

As a Policy Enforcement Manager, you are responsible for working with a global team from Policy, Enforcement, Product, Engineering, Tools, Legal and other teams to prevent violative content from appearing on the site. You will evaluate abuse trends and quality within vendor operations, and develop creative solutions to address quality, workflows, and processes. You review decisions about the appropriateness of different content, including considerations of cultural and political sensitivities. This role will review graphic, controversial, and offensive video content in line with YouTube’s Community Guidelines.
