Job Description

Define and advocate the product strategy for feedback and understand user and product needs, set a strategic direction, and ensure it aligns with gUP’s overall goals.
Analyze every touchpoint across the experience and optimize within that context to drive successful outcomes.
Generate new ideas, prioritize features, and collaborate with engineering, your product peers, and other partners to deliver a high-quality product.
Develop strategies to drive usage, engagement, and trustworthy data and insights.
Work with engineering, operations, product verticals and other teams to ensure feedback success.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product management.
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch and working with engineering on infrastructure design and trade-offs.
Experience working with consumer-facing products (e.g., consumer products, customer support and next generation technologies).

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field.
3 years of experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership with a track record of great collaboration with cross-functional teams on high-velocity projects.
2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, business, finance, and other stakeholders.
Experience turning broad, ambiguous problems into clear, well-structured projects.
Ability to define metrics, analyze experiments, generate insights, and communicate results to the wider organization.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
5 years of experience in product management.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager, you will work in the Feedback ecosystem, a large-scale external and internal facing product with an infrastructure for ingesting, labeling, analyzing and surfacing vast amounts of data all with the main purpose of enabling our product facing teams to best represent the user voice and advocate for their needs. You will focus on getting these products out of Keeping the Lights On (KTLO), aiding in a multi-year transition from customer engineer, landing our product owners needs, and driving the next generation of this suite of user feedback products.

In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem.
