Job Description

Provide technical guidance, leadership, and mentorship across the Cloud Observability team.
Take on project ownership for Error Reporting, Uptime Monitoring, and Cloud Profiler.
Design, build, and launch Observability Hub and establish and maintain high technical standards, ensuring code quality, reliability, and performance.
Own the overall design, architecture, and implementation strategies. Make key decisions regarding technology choices, system design, and trade-offs.
Engage cross-functionally to align with overall Cloud Observability product goals and strategies.

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with platforms or infrastructure development.
Experience with OpenTelemetry and Datadog APIs.
Experience working with cloud developers and operators.
