Location of Requirement: Hyderabad

Role Profile
As a Scrum Master you will be reporting into the Agile Delivery and Governance Manager and working on development and management of new requirements for Connect, the global intranet for LSEG’s internal employees, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, testing, software deployment lifecycles using the Scrum framework. Your focus will be on ensuring the quality of deliverables and adherence to scope agreed with the product owner, via Scrum ceremonies and the use of Atlassian Jira.
Tech Profile/Essential Skills
•6+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar role, preferably in integration projects.
•Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, Crystal, XP etc.).
•3+ years’ experience of SharePoint 365 development or SharePoint software development lifecycle.
•2+ years’ experience of Atlassian Jira. (or Asana).
•Excellent communication and organizational skills.
•Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
•Ability to collaborate with product owner on sprint planning, sprint reviews and demos.
•Ability to manage the development lifecycle through the development teams from refinement to sprints and production release.
•Hands on experience in running scrum ceremonies.
•Experience of sprint management.
•Ability to pro-actively and transparently communicate statuses and any impediments or blockers to the Agile Delivery and Governance Manager and the product owner.
•Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and drive alignment.
•Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
•Proficient in tracking and reporting tools used in Agile project management.
•Familiarity with DevOps practices and deployment processes.
•Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.

•Professional qualification (Scrum Master certified) or equivalent experience.

Detailed Responsibilities
•Work effectively in an inclusive and open culture, working with global teams.
•Status Meetings: Facilitate regular scrum ceremonies to discuss progress, identify blockers, and foster collaboration.
•Sprint reporting using Jira or other real-time tools.
•Sprint planning with the product owner – ensure that stories are definition of ready and that the story pointing aligns with the capacity of the team in negotiating the stories that are submitted into a sprint. Agree on sprint goals.
•Ensure that team are peer-reviewing code as part of lifecycle. Make use of any DevOps tools that check for code quality and code security.
•QA Results: Verify that QA results, including content, functional, and performance tests, are ready and well documented.
•Set up sprints as per the provided sprint and release schedule.
•Release Notes: Collaborate with the team to create comprehensive release notes that describe all new integrations and features.
