Job Description

Own end-to-end deliverables for the. Ownership of scope, schedule, risks and issues management.
You will closely work Development team on the day-to-day deliverables and participate and lead development meetings including Automation scope definition, Capacity review, Governance meetings, Project status/updates, HLEs, Scrums, and Retrospectives, RCAs and Show and Tell meetings.
Lead the Development team to produce technical designs, estimates/HLEs and deliver on functional requirements, while also owning the non-functional requirements (scalability requirements, Performance/resiliency requirements, etc.).
Focus on increasing velocity, productivity, and quality of deliverables.
Work adopting an agile SDLC model (Scrum) and ensure development delivery schedules are being met and manage feature design, implementation, and automated unit test development etc.
Lead defect resolution and delivery of all bug fixes. Coordinate and manage expectations of all teams (e.g. QA, Implementations, Product Management) throughout that process.
Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members and organizations to their optimum performance.
Help team members set appropriate career and skillset growth goals to improve their own productivity and value over time.
Demonstrate technical leadership to resolve development and application issues, scalability, and performance issues. Also work with our Information Security and other Governance teams to ensure were putting out a high quality, secure product.
Provide direction and leadership to the development team; effectively communicating project updates to senior management, counterparts, and project team members.
Needs to be hands on and involved in the deliverables: development / code reviews validation capacity needs to ensure relevant product expertise and depth is achieved as a self-goal in this assignment.
Timely escalation of issues and follow up for resolution. Responsible for complying with all information security policies and processes.
Ready perform as an individual contributor also (hands on)
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering or related field or equivalent professional experience
Must have expertise in developing applications with Object Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles and patterns, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA using PHP technology stack.
Must have expertise in architecting complex systems.
12+ years of experience in software development using PHP frameworks with front end framework.
Must have expertise in creating software using PHP (Phalcon, CodeIgniter) with the knowledge of MYSQL & Angular
Strong knowledge in MySQL
Hands on Knowledge on working with Source control systems such as GitHub/Bitbucket
Familiarity with DevOps concepts such as CI/CD, Build scripts, PowerShell etc.
Familiarity in AWS Cloud Services (EC2, Lambda, Elastic Search, Aurora MySQL)
Familiarity in Serverless architecture
Familiarity with Agile Practices such as SCRUM
Any DeVos / Cloud certification is added advantage
