Job Description

Responsible for guiding and supervising the offshore delivery enabling effective communication with onsite teams and clients.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of offshore iOS engineers, providing direction, mentorship, and support.

Coordinate with onsite Lead / Architect and interact with multiple client teams to understand project requirements, priorities, and timelines.

Architect, design, and implement robust and scalable iOS applications using Objective-C and Swift.

Oversee the development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment.

Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, milestones, and deliverables.

Track and report project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.

Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the offshore team and with onsite counterparts.

Provide technical guidance and support to team members, helping resolve technical challenges and fostering skill development.

Stay updated with the latest iOS development trends, tools, and technologies, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as an iOS developer with proficiency in Objective-C and Swift.

Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of engineers.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with onsite teams, clients, and stakeholders.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions within deadlines.

Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and issue tracking systems such as Jira.

Prior experience in a similar offshore lead role is preferred.
