Job Description

UTT - Developer JD:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead/Developer with expertise in HP Service Desk Manager configuration and development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java, Angular/React, Oracle DB, and SQL/PLSQL. This role requires leading technical projects, designing and implementing solutions, and ensuring the optimal performance of our HP Service Desk Manager system.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:

Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and support.
Coordinate and manage development activities to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to align technical solutions with business requirements.
HP Service Desk Manager Configuration:

Configure and customize HP Service Desk Manager to meet business needs.
Ensure configurations are optimized for performance and scalability.
Maintain upto date documentation of configurations and customizations.
System Design & Development:

Design and develop applications using Java and front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
Integrate HP Service Desk Manager with other systems and applications.
Develop and optimize database solutions using Oracle DB and SQL/PLSQL.
Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
Project Coordination:

Act as a technical liaison between development teams, business stakeholders, and IT management.
Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure successful delivery.
Communicate project status, technical issues, and solutions to stakeholders.
System Maintenance & Support:

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for HP Service Desk Manager and related systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Implement enhancements and updates to improve system functionality and performance.
Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in HP Service Desk Manager, Java, Angular/React.
Propose and implement improvements to processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the development team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:

7+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on HP Service Desk Manager configuration and development.
Proven experience in Java development.
Strong proficiency in frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
Expertise in Oracle DB, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of HP Service Desk Manager and its configuration.
Strong coding skills in Java and front-end technologies.
Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL for database development and optimization.
Experience with integration technologies and middleware.
Leadership Skills:

Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
Excellent project management and coordination skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Detail oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with cloud based service desk solutions.
Certification in HP Service Desk Manager or relevant technologies.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools.
