Job Description

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Program Manager to oversee and manage key programs within our banking division. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the banking industry and a proven track record in managing complex programs that drive business outcomes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate across teams, manage stakeholders, and ensure the successful delivery of programs on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
Lead and manage large, cross-functional programs within the banking sector, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective results.
Develop and manage program plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, clients, and vendors.
Act as the primary point of contact for program updates, risks, and issues, ensuring clear communication and transparency.
Risk and Issue Management:
Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks and issues, escalating when necessary and proposing solutions.
Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
Process Improvement:
Continuously assess and improve program management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
Ensure adherence to best practices, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements within the banking industry.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure successful program delivery.
Facilitate collaboration among team members from different departments, including IT, operations, compliance, and risk management.
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide regular program updates to senior management, including progress reports, status updates, and performance metrics.
Track and report program performance, ensuring that key milestones are met and outcomes are achieved.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Masters degree is a plus.
7+ years of experience in program management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
Proven experience managing large-scale programs with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
Strong understanding of banking processes, regulations, and industry trends.
PMP (Project Management Professional), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or similar certification is highly preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Proficient in program management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, etc.).
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with digital transformation programs in banking.
Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Experience in risk management and compliance within the banking industry.
Familiarity with banking systems, technologies, and fintech solutions.
