Skill: Data Engineer

Role: T3, T2

Key responsibility:

2 years of experience in Data Engineering roles, with a focus on cloud-native data platforms.
2+ years of experience in DBT (designing and implementing end-to-end DBT pipelines).
Hands-on experience with cloud data warehouses like BigQuery or Snowflake (both preferred).
Experience with Airflow (orchestration) for scheduling, monitoring, and logging ETL workflows.
Strong proficiency in SQL (advanced queries, CTEs, window functions, etc.).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
Familiarity with Data Governance, Lineage, and Observability tools (like Great Expectations or Datafold).
Experience with Python for scripting data engineering tasks.
Exposure to DevOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Familiarity with Cloud Data Platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
