Our vision is to become the #1 destination for Japanese readers to discover and purchase books and manga, both in print and digital formats. We build scalable, high-performance solutions enhanced by modern technologies, including generative AI. Our team creates the best book shopping, buying, and reading experience across all devices while working closely with global central teams.
The Role:
As an SDE-2 on our team in Chennai, you'll architect, develop, and optimize sophisticated systems that enhance how customers discover and purchase books. This role involves building scalable backend services, enhancing frontend customer experience, and exploring innovative technologies to create intelligent features. You'll have options to execute the roadmap across complex distributed systems while ensuring our solutions are both technologically advanced and user-friendly.- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Knowledgeable in object-oriented design patterns.
