Your expertise will help businesses optimize their payment flows, improve transaction success rates, and drive adoption of PayPal’s solutions. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Engineering, to deliver impactful, scalable solutions. This role is at the heart of our mission to empower businesses with secure and efficient payment experiences, ensuring they can focus on growth while we handle the complexities of payments.

As a Solutions Architect, you will be instrumental in driving seamless PayPal integrations, ensuring our partners and merchants can offer frictionless payment experiences. Your technical expertise and problem-solving skills will help businesses optimize their payment flows, reduce operational challenges, and accelerate go-live timelines. Collaborating with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution, delivering scalable solutions that enhance customer satisfaction. Your contributions will directly impact PayPal’s growth in the MEA region by enabling secure, efficient, and high-performing payment solutions.

Your day to day

In your role as a Solutions Architect, you will:

Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient payment solutions, ensuring seamless PayPal integration for partners and merchants.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions that drive adoption and optimize payment performance.
Engage directly with partners and merchants, providing technical guidance, troubleshooting complex integration challenges, and ensuring a smooth go-live experience.
Stay ahead of industry trends and PayPal’s evolving technology stack, leveraging APIs, SDKs, and cloud-based architectures to enhance payment capabilities.
Support go-to-market initiatives, contributing to technical documentation, best practices, and enablement programs to empower internal teams and external stakeholders.

What do you need to bring-

Total 4 to 8 years of experience in IT with 5+ years in Solutions Engineering.
Strong technical hands on expertise in payment integrations, APIs, and web technologies, with experience in RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth, and Webhooks and mobile technology.
Proven experience in solution architecture, technical consulting, or pre-sales engineering within the payments, fintech, or e-commerce industry.
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Hands-on problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex integration challenges and ensuring seamless go-live experiences.
Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to drive successful implementations.
