Job Description:
DevOps Engineer: Responsible for delivering technical solutions, Responsibilities will encompass infrastructure management, continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) implementation, and collaboration with development and operations teams. Responsibilities Infrastructure as Code IaC Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation. Ensure consistent and repeatable provisioning of infrastructure resources. CI/CD Pipeline Development Design, implement, and maintain CI CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes. Integrate CI CD tools with version control systems and artifact repositories. Containerization and Orchestration: Utilize containerization technologies like Docker to package applications and services. Implement and manage container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes for scalable and resilient deployments. Automation Scripting: Develop automation scripts using scripting languages e.g Bash Python to streamline oprational tasks. Implement automated monitoring and alerting solutions. Configuration Management: Implement and manage configuration management tools e.g Ansible, Puppet, Chef to ensure consistency across environments. Enforce configuration standards and best practices. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices for infrastructure and application deployments. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Monitoring and Logging Set up monitoring tools to track system performance and identify issues proactively. Implement centralized logging solutions for effective troubleshooting. Cloud Services Management Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure resources on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Monitor cloud costs and implement cost-saving strategies.
1) Candidate should be able to script his own jenkins pipelines with groovy scripting language.
2)should be expertise on docker containerization and kubernetes orchestration to create and maintain deployments
3)should possess knowledge on IAC implementation and be able to work on terraform or ansible or chef configuration
management.
4)should have good knowledge on Amazon web services to be able to implement cloud computing solutions as per the need.
5)Better to have an understanding on workflows such as gitops, argo cd, denodo vdp, jfrog, sonarqube etc.
6)Observability knowledge to monitor the servers on his own and understand the application performances.
7)should be able to work on his own during offshore hours (11 am to 8am IST) as the support and directions will be available
only during onshore timings (5:30pm to 2:30 am IST).
