Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct manual and automation testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of software Web applications
2. Develop and execute comprehensive test scripts for Regression testing
3. Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks using TestNG, Java, and Selenium WebDriver to streamline testing processes
4. Collaborate with teams to understand Story requirements and design effective test cases
5. Utilize strong expertise in Java, TestNG and Selenium to create robust & scalable test scripts to improve efficiency and effectiveness
6. Handle test data management, including extraction, manipulation, and validation from Excel spreadsheets
7. Able to handle data in both json and xml
8. Able to write, manipulate DB queries in mysql server
9. Keep proactively learning new skills and implementing innovative testing solutions.
10. Actively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives
11. Able to report the testing updates clearly in Email and orally

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
2. Proven experience as a Manual and Automation Tester with a minimum of 6+ years in software testing
3. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
4. Proficiency in testing techniques, including test case design, execution, and defect tracking
5. Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG
6. Solid programming skills in languages such as Java for test automation
7. Strong knowledge in API testing with Postman
8. Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is preferred
9. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
11. Knowledge of json and xml validation is a plus
