Lead Python Developer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Handle processing of huge data for machine learning using Python and Java.
Develop process automation using Python, VBA, and crawler development.
Implement functional requirements and deliver software features of exceptional quality.
Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement design into code.
Build, train, and deploy machine learning models using Python (Azure/SageMaker).
Requirements:
Must have at least 6 years of experience in Python development.
Strong technical skills in .NET Core, Python, Web API, and Azure/AWS.
Proficiency in SQL databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle, and No-SQL databases.
Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (Django, Flask, Pyramid).
Experience in REST APIs and writing Python libraries/scripts.
Familiarity with Django ORM and Django Rest Framework.
Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Perl, and Bash.
Experience in building highly efficient and scalable software.
Strong problem-solving skills and a test-driven approach in development.
Familiarity with statistical packages and open-source technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
Proficient in SQL, advanced Excel, and scripting languages (Python/Perl).
Strong Python programming skills with a consistent, well-documented code approach.
Hands-on experience with Python scripting and SQL queries.
Ability to work on the service layer for creating efficient software.
Experience in application support, database management, and scripting.
Knowledge of statistical programming languages like R and SAS is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, CI/CD automation, and financial systems.
