How will you make an impact in this role?

Finance is a collaborative team, playing a key role in advising all areas of the business. We have a strategic seat at the table and our unique insights are valued in a highly competitive marketplace and increasingly complex global regulatory environment.

This team collaborates globally to deliver expert accounting, reporting & advisory services, and financial risk control & governance, while supporting business growth & protecting shareholder value

Purpose of the Role:

            Responsible for management & governance of monthly accounting for legal entities

            Managing end to end responsibility of one of the non-banking legal entities

            Monthly review of financials to provide critical inputs to entity controller on various cost analytics and services fee charge-out

            Analysis of Legal Entity Results, identification of anomalies during close

            Identify opportunities to standardize, improve and automate existing processes within/across teams

            Plan/coordinate with various stake-holders to execute process improvement opportunities

            Partner with various groups to identify and leverage best practices

            Manage & govern various regulatory filings and compliances

            Compliance with prevailing policies & procedures etc.

            Monthly/Quarterly update to Legal Governance Committee / Board members and ensuring all regulatory compliances

            Ensure that all deadlines are continually met, and adequate controls are maintained over the processes to ensure integrity of the information

            Maintain close contact with customer / business partners and other interface groups to ensure a smooth service delivery

            Provide end to end support for the legal entity statutory / internal / other audits including discussion with auditors and drive closure of Internal and External Audit of Local as well as US GAAP ledgers

            Coordinate with GFO/GBS functions to provide external audit support, including Reconciliations, Accounting and Payment Operations, plus World Services Cashiers as appropriate

Past Experience:

CA/CPA with 1+years of experience or MBA with 3 + years of experience or M Com with 7 + years of experience.

 

Functional Skills/Capabilities:

Functional Skills/Capabilities:

            Strong understanding of end-to-end accounting, basic understanding of reporting

            Understanding of financial consolidation process

            Ability to research and embed relevant best practices

Technical Skills/Capabilities:

            Knowledge of financial systems – Oracle, OBI etc, Advanced MS office suits such as Excel, Word, Power-point

            Strong IGAAP/IND AS  knowledge and awareness of US GAAP (Accounting knowledge)

            Analytical skills with the ability to undertake cause effect analysis

            Working knowledge of automation tools like Tableau, Python, Natural Language Generation [NLG], Machine Learning Studio [MLS] etc. would be an added advantage
