Job Description

Snowflake Developer

This role is for a Specialist - Analytics who can understand complex functional, technical requirements and has the ability to understand the implications associated with the chosen technical strategy well aligned with the business context. The successful candidate would carry out reporting/visualization development/enhancement and work with a high performing team in an individual contributor role to imlement BI and Analytical solutions. The successful candidate will be expected to interact with all levels of the business and technical community.

Job Responsibilities

Work with Product Owner/BA to understand business/functional requirements, feasibility analysis, preparing estimates and defining technical solutions/prototypes to a business proposition
Developer with hands-on experience to build end to end solution for data integrations from various data sources to provide insights on Tableau nline/PowerBI. This involves designing and developing data extraction/loading, processing and integration.
Provides a combination of research and quantitative and/or qualitative analysis, including developing reports, synthesizing data, identifying trends, and regularly making data-based recommendations on matters of significance for management decision making
Develop, maintain and manage insights driven, interactive and dynamic visualization dashboards using Tableau Online & Power BI desktop
Conducting unit tests and develop complex SQL queries to troubleshoot any issues
Expertise in Snowflake, Oracle/SQL Server and strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured data sets
Build and manage subscription, scheduling and data driven alert framework
Design and implement object and data level security
Provide necessary guidance to ETL team to create high performing database designs for excellent report response times
Prepare implementation plan and coordinate with various teams to deploy codes to different environment
Integrate Power BI/Tableau Online platform with various data sources like databases, files, API etc.
