How will you make an impact in this role?

The U.S. Product Management & Lending organization is passionate about responsible lending! We strive to develop products and features that meet the evolving borrowing needs of our customers.

The US Consumer Promotional Pricing Strategy team sits within the US PML organization and plays a critical role in driving responsible lending growth for the US Consumer portfolio.

As a member of the US Consumer Pricing team, the Analyst / Senior Analyst will support customer lending growth in US consumer business with robust pricing frameworks. Candidate will leverage analytics to drive pricing strategy to further aid business vision in short and long-term. This position also provides opportunity to partner closely across multiple functions including Pricing, Product, Marketing, Finance, and Risk.

Aid development of pricing strategies for American Express Customer Promotional Card Pricing, Pay It Plan It Promotional Pricing, and Pay Over-Time Promotional Pricing
Analyze Customer data, portfolio trends and industry dynamics to gather customer insights, inform price testing strategy and devise recommendations to accelerate revenue growth
Own pricing model and associated logic
Perform competitive benchmarking by leveraging quantitative and qualitative information
Help prioritize projects by developing Cost Benefit Analysis
Support execution processes

Minimum Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will be leader with a passion for the customer, proven track record of driving results, and strong mix of skills in strategy and analytics.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage large data sets to inform business decisions.
Ability to build strong inter-departmental relationships
Excellent written and oral communication skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of credit card economics preferred, but not required
Knowledge of SQL and Python; LUMI experience is preferred
