How will you make an impact in this role?
The incumbent will lead the customer management for the US portfolio for both consumer and sbs portfolios within the CBO strategy team.
Credit Bust Out (CBO) begins when a person establishes credit: under their own name or by creating a synthetic identity (or business). The individual either busts out immediately as a first payment defaulter or may work to build a strong credit profile, making on-time payments, increasing credit limits, and applying for more cards. After credit is built, the “bust-out” takes place. The individual maxes out the credit accounts and ceases making payments. These schemes are often orchestrated by highly sophisticated individuals or criminal rings/networks working in tandem.
You will work in a highly dynamic and exciting environment and will have the opportunity to enhance the strategies for the customer management functions of US portfolio. You will be responsible to enhance and create new strategies & uplift and automate processes/procedures and controls.
You will lead a high-performing and motivated team, where defining what winning looks like will be critical to staying ahead of the fraudsters. In addition, collaborating with partners in other Risk teams, Global Servicing, Legal/Compliance, and Technologies will essential to create world-class strategies and capabilities.
Responsibilities:
• Create and Enhance Customer Management strategies for different functions (RLA/ POS D/ Case Set Ups)
• Work with credit partners, GSG teams, international teams and tech teams to seamlessly implement customer management strategies
• Design, develop, deploy and monitor strategies and rules-based business solutions to minimize CBO losses while ensuring superior customer experience
• Identify emerging trends and potential threats quickly
Minimum Qualifications
• At least 3 years’ experience in the risk management field
• Proven track record of driving results with strong thought leadership and complex problem solving skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work within tight deadlines and changing priorities
• Ability to influence others, be creative and manage multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Masters or PhD degree in Business, Statistics, Economics, Engineering or related fields is strongly desired
• Ability to handle large datasets using SQL, Python or other programming language
