Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for Java microservices using Selenium and BDD frameworks.
Write and maintain Gherkin-based test scenarios using tools like Cucumber or JBehave.
Validate RESTful APIs, service integrations, and cloud-hosted applications during and after migration.
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and DevOps engineers to define and maintain test strategies and acceptance criteria.
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous quality.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Monitor test execution, analyze test results, and troubleshoot failures.
Contribute to the improvement of automation frameworks and QA processes across teams.

Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience in Automation Testing, especially for Java-based microservices.
Proficient in Selenium WebDriver with Java for UI and functional automation.
Strong experience in BDD test automation using Gherkin syntax and frameworks like Cucumber.
Solid understanding of RESTful API testing, using tools/libraries like RestAssured, Postman, or similar.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) and integration of test automation into pipelines.
Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git) and versioning practices.

Nice to Have:
Experience in cloud environments, especially AWS (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
