If so, the Featured Merchant Algorithm team presents a unique opportunity to take on these challenges. We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead the development of solutions that shape the shopping experience for hundreds of millions of customers worldwide.

In this role, you’ll spearhead the creation of a new, high-impact, high-visibility greenfield service that integrates LLM agents across multiple Amazon organizations. You will lead a diverse, high-performing team dedicated to ensuring the accuracy, accessibility, compliance, and confidentiality of critical datasets that drive Amazon’s decision-making processes. These datasets are crucial for offer ranking, legal compliance, and business insights, directly influencing how products are presented to customers. You’ll work closely with scientists to develop ML datasets that train models responsible for selecting the Featured Offers, which generate the majority of Amazon Store sales. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, scientific, and legal teams across offer ranking, advertising, analytics, and pricing to enable simulations, model refreshes, and compliance enforcement.

- 3+ years of engineering team management experience
- 7+ years of engineering experience
- 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
