Job Description

Must have excellent knowledge on US H1B visa process
Review the request and determine the employee’s eligibility for the respective petition type based on the internal policies and immigration regulations.
Guide the employees and managers on the immigration policy and requirement, and the process to be followed and help them raise the request in internal portal.
Provide guidance to employees to provide necessary documents and evidence to support the petition processing.
Gathering information and documentation from Employees & Managers
Reviewing all documents & information submitted by Employee & Managers to ensure they are accurate and meet requirements and draft the petition.
Reviewing LCAs to ensure it is procured accurately to file the application.
Do self-review of the petition drafted before sending it for final review.
Follow the rules and regulations, internal policy, and immigration regulations, and report any non-compliance to Leads & compliance team.
Ensuring that deadlines / SLAs are met.
Tracking the status of each application in system & tracker daily.
Keeping employees, managers & clients updated on status of the application.
Coordinating with internal teams (LCA, Reviewer & OFT teams) as needed.
Upgrade self on immigration rules, requirements & policies

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications.1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance.3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities.5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Qualification

Must have expertise and deep understanding of US H1B Petition end to end process.
Minimum 4-7 years of experience in drafting H1B petitions.
Proficient in Oral and written communication in English.
Experience in MS Excel, Word.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with commitment to excellence.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Must have growth mindset and continue to learn & develop skills and learn from mistakes.
