Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Java development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in DevOps practices and Java programming, with a proven track record of managing and automating infrastructure, deploying applications, and ensuring system reliability and performance.Key Responsibilities:Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.Automation: Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and application issues in a timely manner.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps and Java development.Technical Skills:Proficiency in Java programming and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).Good understanding of Java concepts and technologies, web containers (tomcat/jboss), Spring framework, Web services(REST), ORM, Security etc Expertise in any one of the RDBMS Awareness of design principles, design patterns, performance tuning, profiling Strong debugging and troubleshooting skillsStrong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).Understanding of networking, security, and system administration.Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and collaboration abilities.Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
