Job Description

Title: Senior Specialist/Specialist – SEM Location: Bangalore – Electronic City SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:Supports and optimizes PPC campaigns and SEO tactics by focusing on opportunity seeking, right-sizing, and forecasting.Conducts keyword and webpage analysis and expansion to support targeted marketing efforts.Provides competitive landscape analysis and identifies opportunities for better targeting keywords.Manages keyword inventory by topic.Collaborates with cross-functional teams and communicates effectively with stakeholders.Ensures timely project delivery and adherence to deadlines. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Conducts extensive keyword research & analysis based on pre-defined and agreed upon topics utilizing tools such as SEMRush, Google Ads or equivalent.Leverage existing keyword lists and seek to expand keywords by engaging product teams and SMEs.Performs opportunity analysis for PPC campaigns, including identifying potential keywords, reviewing search volume and competition.Partner with Paid Search Manager to utilize opportunity analyses in forecasting required budgets and approach to achieve marketing goals.Analyze the competitive landscape and recommend strategies to better target keywords related to the target topic.Manages and maintains keyword inventory by topic, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Determine with Paid Search Manager, Campaign Strategist and Marcom partners the best file management solutions for easy accessibility between teams.Regularly monitor keyword and topic performance through dashboards and reports. Derive insights and share with Paid Search Manager and other key partners. If dashboards/reports do not exist, seek opportunities to construct proper reporting capabilities.Run extensive analysis of webpages to identify both campaign/topic specific and PS-wide improvements that can be made to page elements such as urls, page titles, meta-data, linking, and more.Improve on-page SEO by supporting the execution of webpage enhancements and creation. Support page owner with content for meta-data. Communicates project status, performance metrics, and insights to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals. Integrate findings within reporting templates and formats with management.Ensures all SEM campaigns are delivered on time and meet project deadlines.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Who you are:Education: Bachelor’s/ master’s degree in marketing/Communication/Business Administration or a related field. Experience: 7-10 Years of experience in the related field. Technical Skills / Competencies:Strong analytical skills to conduct opportunity analysis, keyword expansion, and competitive landscape analysis. Also, able to provide actionable insights and recommendations.Work experience in search engine marketing, with a focus on PPC and keyword analysis Proficiency in using SEM tools such as SEMRush or equivalent. Strong understanding of SEM best practices, search engine algorithms, and industry trendsPreferred Certification:Google Ads Certification preferred.SEMrush SEO Toolkit Course Certification preferred.Behavioral Competencies:Strong analytical skills to conduct opportunity analysis, keyword expansion, and competitive landscape analysis. Also, able to provide actionable insights and recommendations.Experience in managing and optimizing SEO activities to improve website traffic and PPC campaigns to achieve marketing goals.Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Result DrivenWe are an equal opportunity employer that values workforce diversity.
