Job Description

Title: BioProcess Engineer Location: Bangalore – Peenya SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:Scope of responsibility lies in understanding the functional specification for bioprocess equipment. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:Collaborating with sales, cross functional team and customers during project execution for any P&ID update and preparation of Functional Process specification of a Bioprocess equipment inline with URS. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Responsibilities:Bio Process Technical lead from PreSales till HandoverPreparing P&ID based on User Requirement Specification (URS) & Bio process applications.Preparing technical specifications of a Bioprocess equipment inline with URSPreparing Functional Process specification of a Bioprocess equipment inline with URSPreparing technical & commercial quote during presales PhaseCollaborate with sales, cross functional team and customers during presales to prepare technical specifications of a Bioprocess equipment inline with URSTechnical Discussion with vendors for any requirement during presales or during project execution.Understanding the customer requirement and providing the solutions in structured way.Need to collaborate with internal & cross-functional teams to complete Bioprocess related deliverables related to a project seamlessly.Collaborating with automation team for the process development of the hardware systems.Preparation of Functional process specifications with flow diagrams or GRAFCET or valve matrixSupporting qualification team and customer during customer FAT/IQOQTravel to customer place for technical discussion. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Who you are:Education: BE or B.Tech in Biotechnology / BE in Bioprocess Engineering. ME/M.Tech optional. Experience: 3-4 Years in Bioprocess Equipment. Technical Skills / Competencies:Experience in Fermentors, Bioreactors, Tangential Flow Filtration systems, Chromatography systemsExperience in P&ID, URS, FAT/IQ/OQ, GRAFCET.We are an equal opportunity employer that values workforce diversity.
