Illustration creation is a bonus!</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">As a Senior Visual Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the user experience of our digital products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that meet the needs of our users.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What would you work on?</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Focus: lead the creation and implementation of user interface designs that align with the company's brand and product goals.</strong></span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Blade Design Systems:</strong> Collaborate with our internal design systems team, assisting with UI design initiatives.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Establish New UI Standards:</strong> Work closely with the design team to enhance and innovate, setting fresh design benchmarks for aesthetics and visual appeal.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Illustration Design:</strong> Develop illustrations and icons that complement the brand identity and improve user comprehension of complex features and functionalities.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Brand Consistency:</strong> Ensure all UI design assets adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency across various platforms and devices.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Product Experience Enhancements:</strong> Collaborate with the product design team to integrate UI design elements that enhance user interaction and experience across our products.</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>What do we expect from you?</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Establish and promote design guidelines, UI patterns and standards to ensure consistency and quality across all design projects.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with the design system team, PMs and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with designers across teams to curate & innovate on the new aesthetics & patterns.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Good communication and presentation skills to articulate design decisions to key stakeholders and team members.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts and solutions.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintaining or helping us evolve our core principles in visual styles, typography, spacing, motion & other interaction models.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Collaborate with the brand team to create illustrations that effectively convey our brand story.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Facilitate meetings and ensure all the voices in the room are heard. Also, helping raise the bar for design at Razorpay by participating in design critiques to drive new design initiatives.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Expert-level understanding of the design tools (Figma/Sketch/etc.)</span></li> </ul> <h3><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Brownie Points</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">You’ve worked on design systems in the past.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">You have a good understanding of HTML, CSS & JS.
