Our IT Asset Management team provides a complete and consistent asset inventory for operations and data-driven decisions. Our inventory includes
3k+ applications
10k+ databases
50k+ servers
Mainframes
1k+ storage devices
40k+ workstations
9k+ printers
Network assets
The Lead IT Engineer

Leads the development of Lumens ITAM strategy to evolve with technology, regulatory/legal, and business requirements.
Is accountable for enabling business support of critical stakeholders
Audit and compliance, including SOX, PCI, CMMC, Disaster Recovery, NACHA and vendor software audits
Financial reporting: accounting, asset lifecycle, software asset management, mergers / acquisitions / divestitures.
IT operations, including change / incident / problem / request management, lifecycle management, app modernization, monitoring and alarming, asset dependencies and associations, sourcing contracts) Security vulnerability mitigation (asset ownership, data integration with security tools)

Participates in the architecture of integrating 30+ data feeds with our implementation of Asset Manager; providing data fees out to key reporting and operational systems.
Participates in the governance, prioritization, and implementation of ITAM requests and enhancements.
Closely collaborates with the ITAM team (analysts and developers) and upstream/downstream application owners to improve and sustain an highly customized and critical flow of data across systems.

Collaborates with the ITAM team to continuously improve data quality through automated and hands-on methods; manage data quality programs
Qualifications and Experience
Excellent knowledge of IT Asset Management best practices
Deep and broad expertise of legacy and emerging technologies; hardware and software
Deep and broad expertise of audit and compliance topics impacting technology asset management (SOX, PCI, CMMC, Disaster Recovery, NACHA, software audits)

Foundational understanding of financial and accounting concepts
Strongly Preferred Experience: MicroFocus Asset Manager, Flexera FNMS, and ServiceNow
Preferred: 6 8 years of related experience
Skills

Strong analytical skills: technical, data analysis, process analysis. Understand necessary information; discern relevant facts for decisions. Maintain focus on details, while keeping the big picture in mind. Communicate complex concepts and actionable recommendations to leadership.

Ability to determine root cause of operational and financial challenges and offer options for risk based mitigation.
Ability to lead and work in a team, be self directed (requires minimal supervision to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously), creative problem solver, quality focused; applies independent judgment to accomplish objectives.

Establish repeatable processes and apply best practices consistently
Excellent communications skills; able to engage at all levels of the organization (from executives to individual contributors) across organizational functions (technical, business, security, finance), and across multiple media and forums (presentations, meetings, individuals; written for small and large audiences)

Demonstrated strong and positive interpersonal talents able to interact with and influence people from all disciplines able to balance persuasiveness and assertiveness to build relations while meeting objectives.
