Job Description

As a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Azure, you will be part of the Data & AI Solutions - Engineering team in our Healthcare R&D business. Your expertise will drive further deployment and continuous improvement of cloud-based platforms in our D&A Landscape based on AWS Cloud Services and Azure AD, contributing to the overall success of our R&D efforts in discovery and development of new drugs.   You will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between software development, quality assurance, and IT operations by ensuring that our platform is reliable, scalable, and fully automated. Your expertise will contribute to the continuous delivery and operational resilience of the platform, helping to accelerate deployment cycles and minimize downtime. You spearhead the deployment of new releases, ensuring efficient and seamless updates that enhance platform capabilities and performance. Besides, you will be responsible for configuration and maintenance of Azure AD to ensure seamless identity management and access functionalities across our services including third-party ones. Furthermore, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to advocate for best practices in DevOps and influence our architectural decisions. You will join a multicultural team working in agile methodologies and having high autonomy in decision-making. The role requires office presence at our Bangalore location.   Our current tech stack:   Python  AWS: VPC, IAM, STS, EKS, RDS, EC2, ECS, Route53, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Secrets Manager, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, MWAA  Kubernetes: Docker, Helm, ArgoCD, GitOps  Web Development: NextJS, Storybook, Tailwind  TypeScript  PostgreSQL  OpenSearch / ElasticSearch  CDK & Cloud Formation  Azure AD  Git  Airflow  Microsoft Entra ID  R, SAS     Who You Are:University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field  5+ years of experience applying DevOps in solution development & delivery Proficiency in Azure DevOps incl. project configurations, repositories, pipelines, and environments Proficiency in Azure AD incl. apps registration, and authentication flows (OBO, Client Credentials) Good understanding of AWS services and cloud system design Familiarity with R and SAS is beneficial, particularly for data analysis and statistical modeling tasks Willingness to work in a multinational environment and cross-functional teams distributed between US, Europe (mostly, Germany) and India  Sense of accountability and ownership, fast learner  Having experience in regulated environment is a plus (GxP)  Fluency in English & excellent communication skills   If you are curious and ambitious to take up this challenge, apply today and be in the driver seat implementing our Data and Analytics landscape.
